We spent some time in Kiev, Ukraine with our oldest son and his family.
We experienced the absolutely beautiful churches, and the parks!
We ate a beautiful dinner on the Dniper River on a boat.
We enjoyed ice cream with our three grandsons…and walked EVERYWHERE! (mostly because the drivers in this city are craaaazy! LOL) We bought all kinda’ trinkets (decorated Easter Egg Shells, Nesting Dolls) we walked down St. Andrew’s Descent, explored the caves under the Lavra…saw wonderful artwork!
We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly, and the food is off-the-charts good: the breads & pastries, the borscht, chicken kiev…and the good, strong coffee. Wonderful!
I even brought back some terrific artwork by some budding new artists (my grandsons):
On our way home from Kiev our travels took us through Schiphol Airport, so we also spent a few days in Amsterdam, visiting this great old town and surrounding countryside, before heading home.
The canals, the bicycles, the bridges…and the people! Not to mention the cheeses, breads & chocolates…and the wooden shoes and the windmills….we took it all in!
Isn’t it amazing that engineers over the centuries that have realized a way to add land to their seaside borders! That’s Impressive!
Anyway, now we’re back home, and we’re in the process of revising TheDrawPage.
So, you may see some significant differences. But, as always, there are still the DRAW PAGES and from this time forward I will be adding to the 280+ Draw Pages already available here.
I will add one more each week.

How exciting! Maybe you can come up with a few Draw pages about drawing windmills, wooden shoes and something from Kiev? Or even one of the stacking dolls designs. I enjoyed the photos very much! And the revamped website is cool! I love the four drawing page images on the home page that link right to their instructions. Nice job, Rose!
Thanks for the encouragement and the great ideas!
I better get drawing, huh? LOL
