But, I noticed the fruit flies in my kitchen around the compost container. That’s not too uncommon for this time of year. But, I still don’t like them! So, I found an old ball-type jar and got some saran warp and gum band and a toothpick.
..I remember doing this after lunch, so they were already cleaned-up and had nutritious food in their bellies. It was more of a treat….a creative treat!
A cone is basically a 3-dimensional triangle with a curved bottom.
With a cone you can make a handful of fun things like:
When you draw a sphere or a ball-shape…one simple way is to start with a circle.
Then add the shading and shadows like you see in the illustrations below.
Although we are drawing a cube, some of our box-shapes are actually cuboids or rectangular prisms, but that really doesn’t matter here so much. We’re going to make the shapes and then have fun adding our own twists!
