My daughter sent me a photo of a peacock near her house.
I thought that I might try to paint him. It’s really difficult to see many details in this photo, even after lightening it up. So I took a piece and had a little fun painting. I used my imagination as much as my eyes, I guess. But here is how it went:
I started by drawing the peacock, and painting in some pretty bright colors in the background.
I painted in some darker blues, and grays…and added some light browns.
I think she said his name was Pete. So, here’s my portrait of Pete!
