I am thrilled that my grandkids are out of school for the summer break. They’re pretty excited too! They are excited to ride their bikes, play ball, go swimming and build tree houses etc etc!
But, on a rainy afternoon, they’ll call me, Gramma! …and I love it!
A lot of times we color, paint, draw or build something out of clay, popsicle sticks or old toilet paper rolls. But, we always have fun laughing and chatting together.Â
We’ve purchased safe scissors, washable glues and washable paints and markers…it’s all good! It’s actually pretty amazing all of the art-products that you can get that are vibrant colors, but easy to clean up.
For the next few weeks, we’ll have a small project every couple of days or so, for you to download and print out, and have fun with.
None of my kids live in the same state, so most of our together-time happens on FaceTime or Skype. But, you can follow along and have some fun too; whether your kids are in the same room, or across the world!
As always you can either purchase one of the many Draw Books, or simply search this site for lots of free Draw Pages.
We’ll have a lot of fun!Â
Because of the pin and scissors this project needs adult supervision
To get started today, we’ll make a spinning pinwheel using:
paper
scissors
a push pin
a pencil with an eraser
Just click on the image below download it to your PC and then print it out on your printer on a full piece of copy paper. But you don’t really need to print this one out to use it. If you can view it on your screen, you should be able to see the steps easily.

As the days go by, we’ll see if there aren’t some book specials we can’t dig up! …and some extra freebies to download and print out.
I can also show you some of our artwork from our FaceTime gatherings…and if you’d like to share a photo of yours we can add that to a post or to the GALLERY page. I’ll add many links here to either coloring sheets or Draw Pages!
Each post will hopefully be fun, informative, easy…worth reading…worth taking the time to visit! and always something to download and print out to do with those wonderful kids of yours!
Here are a few more Draw Pages to download if you need more activity today. Draw A BUG and Draw a FLOWER.

I Know Who I Am
I KNOW WHO I AM
Many parents have a child who has to do it him/herself!
From what to wear to what to eat and where to go, that child does NOT have trouble making a decision or knowing his/her desires …and letting everyone else know them too!
This book profiles the child who is confident, opinionated, and eager to tackle…
