I spent sometime this morning with my wonderful grandsons. There was a lot of talk about hockey and cross-country skiing…and skating and games of Freeze-Tag (I think they call it Man-Hunt).
But the most fun we had was drawing together, they came up with such original ideas and ways of doing things: one drew an eye (if I can get them to send copies I’ll post them)…and one drew the coolest logo-type thing with a silhouette of their dog in it. And the other drew mountains and volcanos….and a very cool picture of his woodworking tool, a drill.
I do have some copies of mine that I’ll share with you, I started by drawing some lines for fields…
,,,and then remembering to use a whisper-line, I added some trees in the front…
….so I erased all of the lines that I didn’t want, and had a drawing like this…
…and then I used three alcohol-based marker (light-red, light-blue and light-yellow)….and finished it off with colored pencils…
So, that was my Wednesday morning with some of my favorite friends. And like I said, when I get copies of their artwork, I’ll post them…you’ll be impressed. We Like to FaceTime often, and do some arts & crafts together.
I should have a new Draw Page up within the next day or two.
