MOVING DAY in PITTSBURGH
September 27th
All 20 Team GAUSS members met up in Highland Park at the reservoir around 9 o’clock. We chose to wear buttons instead of t-shirts to identify us.
The whole week was gorgeous weather and that day was more of the same. Sunny, warm and clear and beautiful!
There were lots of fun things to do, there were snacks and kids activities…dancing, yoga, tai chi etc…and lot of info to help Parkinson’s patients.
The walk was more of a pleasurable mosey…it took about 45 minutes to get thru a mile…and there was good music and lots of pleasant people to chat with. It was humbling to see some of the people with PD in wheelchairs or slowly walking, some with their dogs…but no matter the difficulties they kept at it.
Around noon we left the park and our team met back up at our house and had a picnic that lasted until the stars came out, and even longer.
We had a fire in the fire-ring on our patio and ate and chatted into the night….all around it was a fun, profitable day!
