We have some pretty cool neighbors!
We’re always sharing garden ideas and recipes and vegetables from our gardens!
This past week, we made some cement-leaf birdbaths!. We used big Rhubarb Leaves from our garden as our casts.
My honey, Jim, helped as you can see in the photo.
After our first one was done, we decided to make a handful more, to make a waterfall in our garden next year.
Here’s the little ‘water-spitter’ that I was hoping to buy for my water feature…

…I think this little frog could splash some water right onto one of the leaves and then it could flow down onto several more leaves.
I’ve even found a really cool solar powered water pump with a back-up battery. So I won’t be limited by where I have to place the water feature.
So, the leaf that I made last Sunday was about 16”-18” long! And we made several more yesterday.
I’ll show you when they are dry and cleaned up.
But here are the ones we all worked on last Sunday afternoon.

and here’s a sketch of the waterfall idea…

and I went on to Pinterest and found dozens of more ideas and some great inspiration!
So, this looks like it’ll be a fun project. I’ll let ya know,
