My husband and I were away visiting our son, his wife and their two absolutely wonderful boys! Here’s a photo of me & the boys at Parliament Hill. 
…and I thought that I’d share a few quick sketches. I had a sketchbook, ball point pen (I love the fine-line RSVP pens by Pentel) and a cute little watercolor box and brush…so, don’t expect anything fancy…but here are a couple of buildings outside of my hotel room windows.

Very nice drawings. We must do some plain air painting and make Jim and Kathie wait on, brink us snacks, etc.
Todd, I am so-o-o-o ready, what fun that could be! (especially Kath & Jim waiting on us 🙂 )
…I also want to tackle using oil paints.
Now we just need to dream up a great get-away place to go.
